Interactive Multimedia Learning Basic English Education

In the learning process, the lecturer provides stimulus, but some students have yet to respond. Students feel unfocused in learning because they feel they cannot master the use of the English language they are learning. Based on this, this research aims to develop Interactive Multimedia for Basic English Language Education. The type of research used is Research and Development. The model used in developing the product is ADDIE. The research subjects are experts in media, design, and materials. The number of test subjects was 43 students. This development research uses questionnaires, interviews, and observation as data collection techniques. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative and inferential statistics. The research results are the assessment given by learning media experts, namely 3.2 (very good). Learning design expert, namely 3.3 (very good). Learning material expert is 3.2 (very good). The average practicality of the interactive multimedia products developed was 94.5%, according to the criteria "Very Practical. The effectiveness test shows differences in the average student learning outcomes after using Interactive Multimedia for Basic English Language Education. It can be concluded that multimedia can be said to be suitable for use as a medium of learning and can improve Basic English learning outcomes.
