This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation cooperative learning model “Student Achievement Division Team (STAD) to the results of learning basic techniques of football passing. The research design of this study is a true experimental design using the randomized pretests-postest control group design of the same subject design. The sample of the research is the students of class XI SMA SMA Karya Wisata Singaraja Lesson Year 2016/2017 amounted to 70 people who are distributed into two classes namely class XI Bahasa 2 and XI Bahasa 4 ,. The group sampling was done by simple random sampling technique, it selected XI Bahasa 2 as experiment group and class XI Bahasae 4 as control group. The result of data is collected through objective test, observation and the performance. The data is analyzed using Independent Samples Test with SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Based on the Independent Samples Test, it obtained that the significance number was 0.000 <0,05. So it could be concluded that STAD type cooperative learning model had a significant effect on the learning outcomes of basic technique of football passing. The average value obtained in the experimental group is 0.309 while the control group is 0.140. Thus it suggested for the teacher would be able to apply the model cooperative learning type STAD because it has been proven to influence the improvement of student learning outcomes.
