PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR BOLA BASKET

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe (GI) pada siswa kelas X IPA IV SMA Negeri 1 Melaya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu guru sebagai peneliti. Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA IV SMA Negeri 1 Melaya berjumlah 36 orang siswa, terdiri dari 18 orang putra dan 18 orang putri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata aktivitas belajar passing bola basket secara klasikal pada observasi awal 6,3 (cukup aktif), meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 6,43 (cukup aktif), dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 7,71 (aktif). Sedangkan hasil belajar secara klasikal pada observasi awal passing bola basket 17 ( Sangat Kurang Aktif ), dan meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 71,41 (cukup), dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84,5 (baik). Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI pada siswa kelas X IPA IV SMA Negeri 1 Melaya tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Di sarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe (GI) karena terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar.Kata Kunci : GI, aktivitas dan hasil belajar, passing bola basket.
This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of the activity and the basic techniques of basketball passing through the implementation of cooperative learning model (GI) in the eighth grade students X IPA IV SMA Negeri 1 Melaya. This study is the teacher action research as a researcher. Conducted in two cycles. Subjects were eighth grade students X IPA IV SMA Negeri 1 Melaya totaled 36 students, consisting of 18 sons and 18 daughters. Based on the results, the average of the learning activity in the classical basketball passing the initial observation 6.3 (quite active), increased in the first cycle to 6.43 (quite active), and increases in cycle II to 7.71 (active). While in the classical learning outcomes at the beginning of the observation basketball passing 17 (Very Less Active), and increased in the first cycle to 71.41 (enough), and increases in cycle II to 84.5 (good). The results of the data analysis and discussion of the results concluded that the activity and learning the basic techniques of passing basketballs increased through the implementation of GI cooperative learning model to the eighth grade students X IPA IV SMA Negeri 1 Melaya academic year 2013/2014. In PE suggest to teachers to implement cooperative learning model (GI) as proven effective to increase the activity and learning results.
