This study aims to determine the effect of applying learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) type to the learning result of basic technique of football passing. This study is a real experimental study using a randomized pretest post-test control group of the same subject design. The population of this research is the students at 8th grade of SMP Negeri 2 Sawan Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018it consists of 15 classes. Simple random sampling technique is chosen for this experimental. There was a class lottery,VIII O is chosen as experiment group and VIII M as control group. The data of learning outcomes will be collected through objective test, observation and performance. The data gain score analysis uses the trial of “Independent Samples Test” with an assistance of SPPS 16.0 for Windows. The average percentage that is got by the experiment group is 0,37, while the control group got 0,14.Based on the trial of Independent Samples Test the significant rate that will be reached is (<0,05). Thus it can be concluded that NHT type learning model has a significant effect on the improvement of learning outcomes of basic technique of passing football on the students. And this learning model can be used as an alternative learning that can be applied in the classroom.
