IMPLEMENTASI KOOPERATIF TPS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PASSING BOLA VOLI

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing (bawah dan atas) bola voli, melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Blahbatuh tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, setiap siklus berjumlah 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Blahbatuh tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 40 siswa, yaitu 21 siswa putra dan 19 siswa putri. Data aktivitas dan hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa adalah 6,8 kategori cukup aktif dan hasil belajar siswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 42,5% katagori sangat kurang. Sedangkan Pada siklus II, rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa adalah 7,4 kategori aktif dan hasil belajar siswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 97,5% katagori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing (bawah dan atas) bola voli pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Blahbatuh tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes, untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS, karena dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola voli.

 

Abstract: The main concerns of this study were: to improve the activities and the result of the students’ learning in volleyball especially in passing (upper and lower), trough the implementation of cooperative learning think pair share in the students of grade VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Blahbatuh in the academic years of 2012/2013.  The study itself utilized classroom based action research in two cycles, in every cycles there will be twice meeting. The subjects of the study were the students of grade VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Blahbatuh in the academic years of 2012/2013. The total numbers of the students were 40 students which was consist of 21 males and 19 females.  Then, the data gathered were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis in cycle I showed that the students’ activities in learning was score was 6.8, which was categorized as sufficient active, and the result of the students’ learning in classical was 42,5% which was categorized as low score. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the students’ activities in learning was score was 7.4, which was categorized as sufficient active, and the result of the students’ learning in classical was 97,5% which was categorized as excellent.   From the finding and discussion, it can be conclude that the activities and the result of students’ learning in volleyball especially in basic of passing (upper and lower) of the studnets in grade VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Blahbatuh in the academic years of 2012/2013 was improving trough the implementation of  cooperative learning think pair share strategy. It was suggested to penjaskesorkes teacher to implement this cooperative learning think pair share strategy to improve the activities and the result of students’ learning in volleyball especially in the basic technic of passing.
