PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR TOLAK PELURU GAYA O’BRIEN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar tolak peluru gaya o’brien. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen sungguhan (True Experimental) dengan rancangan the randomized pretest-posttest control group the same subjec design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Sawan tahun pelajaran 2017/2018, keseluruhan jumlah populasi 207 orang. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan simple random sampling berdasarkan kelas. Kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII A2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan VII A4 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Eksperimen ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali perlakuan diluar pretes-posttest. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui tes obyektif, observasi dan unjuk kerja. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent samples test dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Pada data gain skor ternormalisasi (GSn) hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata GSn kelompok eksperimen adalah 0.573 lebih tinggi dari rata-rata GSn kelompok kontrol adalah 0.273. Signifikansi pada tes normalitas adalah 0.069 (kelompok eksperimen) dan 0.072 (kelompok kontrol). Signifikansi pada tes homogenitas adalah 0.685. Berdasarkan uji independent sample test jika nilai sig <0.05 artinya H0 ditolak dan h1 diterima, sehingga berdasarkan analisis pembahasan angka signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah p= 0.000 < 0.05. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar tolak peluru gaya o’brien. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT karena terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) type on the learning outcomes of shot put in o’brien style. This research was true experiment with randomized pretest-posttest control group the same subject design. The population was all students of seven grade of SMP Negeri 3 Sawan at academic year 2017/2018. The total population were 207 people. The sampling technique was simple random sampling based on class. The experimental group was VII A2 class and the control group was VII A4 class. This experiment was conducted 3 times of treatment out of pretest-posttest. The data of learning outcomes were collected through objective test, observation, and performance test. The data were analyzed using independent samples test assisted by SPSS 16.0 for Windows. On Normaized gain score (GSn) the average GSn of experimental group was 0.573 higher than the control group which average was 0.273. The significance of normality test was 0.69 (experimental group) and 0.072 (control group). The significance of the homogeneity test was 0.685. Based on the independent sample test, if the sig value <0.05 means H0 rejected and H1 accepted, so based on the analysis of the discussion, the obtained significance was p = 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model of NHT type had significant effect on the learning outcomes of shot put in o’brien style. It is suggested to physical education teachers to implement cooperative learning model of NHT type on learning process of shot put in o’brien style because it has a significant effect to the improvement of student learning outcomes.
