PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR TEKNIK DASAR PASSING BOLA BASKET

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen sesungguhan (true experimental) dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian the randomized pretests-postest control group the same subject design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP 1 Sawan Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 berjumlah 63 orang yang terdistribusi ke dalam dua kelas yaitu kelas VII A dan VII D, Pengundian kelompok dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling berdasarkan kelas, terpilih kelas VII A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VII D sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui tes obyektif, observasi dan unjuk kerja. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Independent Samples Test dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Rata-rata nilai gain skor yang didapat pada kelompok eksperimen 0,46 (SD=0,1094) sedangkan kelompok control 0,34 (SD=0,1257). Berdasarkan uji Independent Samples Test angka signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah 0,000<0,05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket. Dengan demikian disarankan kepada guru PJOK dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT karena sudah terbukti berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing cooperative learning model Number Head Together (NHT) type toward the result of passing basic technique in basket ball. The kind of this research is true experimental research using the randomized pretests-posttests control group the subject research design. The samples of this research were the VII grade students of SMP 1 Sawan in academic year 2017/2018 including 63 students which were distributed into two classes which are VII A class and VII D class. The grouping was done using simple random sampling technique by class, and chosen VII A class as the experimental group and VII D class as the control group. The result data of the learning were collected through objective test, observation, and practicing. The data analysis were using Independent Samples test assisted by SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The average gain score got from experiment group were 0,46 (SD=0,1094) while control group 0,34 (SD=0,1257. Based on the Independent Sample test the significance number were 0.000<0.05. So, it can be concluded that, cooperative learning model NHT type gave significance influence to the learning result of basic technique of passing in basket ball. Therefore the suggestion to the physical education teacher to implement cooperative learning model NHT type because it was proved that it can give influence to the increase of the result of the students’ learning.
