PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR TOLAK PELURU

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar tolak peluru melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada siswa kelas X-5 SMA Negeri 2 Banjar.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu guru sebagai peneliti. Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-5 SMA Negeri 2 Banjar berjumlah 29 orang siswa, terdiri dari 18 orang siswa putra dan 11 orang siswa putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data untuk aktivitas belajar tolak peluru pada observasi awal 4,89 (kurang aktif), dan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 6,25 (cukup aktif) dan 8,20 (aktif) pada siklus II. Sedangkan persentase hasil belajar tolak peluru dari observasi awal sebesar 27,58% (sangat kurang), pada siklus I 65,52% (cukup baik) dan 96,55% (sangat baik) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa tolak peluru meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada siswa kelas X-5 SMA Negeri 2 Banjar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, karena terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar.
Abstract: This study aims to improve the activity and results of learning the basic techniques of tolak peluru through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT on X-5 grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. This research is a classroom action research is the teacher as researcher. Conducted in two cycles consisting of stages of planning, action, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subjects were X-5 grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar; 29 students consisting of 18 male and 11 female student. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. Based on the results of data analysis techniques for learning activities on the basis of passing a volleyball preliminary observations 4,89 (less active), and the first cycle increased to 6,25 (moderately active) and 8,20 (active) in the second cycle. While the percentage of tolak peluru learned the basic techniques of tolak peluru preliminary observations by 27,58% (very less), 65,52% in the first cycle (pretty good) and 96,55% (excellent) on the second cycle. Based on the results of data analysis and the discussion concluded that the activities and outcomes of student learning the basic techniques of tolak peluru through the application of cooperative learning model NHT on X-5 grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar school year 2013/2014. Recommended to Penjasorkes teachers to use cooperative learning model NHT, because it proved to be effective to enhance the activity and learning outcomes.
