PENERAPAN KOOPERATIF STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PASSING BOLA BASKET

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar Passing Bola Basket pada siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 4 Negara tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 4 Negara, yang berjumlah 30 orang, 16 siswa putra dan 14 siswa putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data aktivitas pada observasi awal 33,3% siklus I sebesar 56,7% dan siklus II sebesar 76,7%. Observasi awal ke siklus I meningkat 23,3%.Siklus I ke siklus II meningkat 20%. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar Passing Bola Basket pada observasi awal 36,7%. Siklus I sebesar 73,3% dan siklus II sebesar 83,33%. Observasi awal ke siklus I meningkat 36,7%. Siklus I ke siklus II meningkat 8,33%. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar Passing Bola Basket meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 4 Negara tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, karena terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
Abstract: The study was aimed at improving students’ activity and their learning result of passing technique in basket ball towards students VIIB of SMP Negeri 4 Negara in academic year 2012/2013. The study was a classroom action research and was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 30 students, 16 male and 14 female. The data was analyzed using statistic descriptive method. The result obtained in observation was 33,3%, cycle I was 56,7% and cycle II was 76,7%. Comparatively, the first observation and cycle I showed significant improvement 23,3%, cycle I and cycle II 20%. In the first observation, the percentage of passing score in the learning result of passing technique was 36.7%, the cycle I was 73.3%, and the cycle II was 83.33%. Therefore, it could be concluded that students’ activity and their learning result of passing technique of basket ball were improved by implementing cooperative learning model STAD. Thus, it was suggested to Penjasorkes teachers implement cooperative learning model STAD, since it could effectively improve students’ activity and their learning result of passing technique of basket ball.
