This research aimed to improve the learning activity and learning outcomes of basic techniques gymnastics floor rolling through the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD type drawing media. This research is a classroom action research in from of the teacher as researcher, conducted in two cycles, consists of planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects were 34 students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Laboratorium UNDIKSHA Singaraja in academic year 2013/2014, which were 22 women and 12 men. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results of data analysis in the classical learning of activities gymnastics floor rolling in the first cycle were 7.60 (active), and increased to 8.36 (active) in the second cycle. While the percentage of classical learning in the first cycle was 76% (good), and increased to be 83% (good) in the second cycle. It can be inferred that learning activity and learning outcomes of gymnastics floor roll increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD with media aided drawing in class XI IPA 2 SMA Laboratorium UNDIKSHA Singaraja in academic year 2013/2014. It is recommended to PE teachers in order to implement this learning model because it was proven increase the learning activity and learning outcomes of gymnastics floor roll.
