PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PASSING BOLA BASKET

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe (NHT)pada siswa kelas VIII C SMP N 6 Kintamani.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu guru sebagai peneliti. Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII C SMP N 6 Kintamani berjumlah 34 orang siswa, terdiri dari 16 orang siswa putra dan 18 orang siswa putri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata aktivitas belajar passing bola basket secara klasikal pada observasi awal 4,94 (kurang aktif), meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 6,79 (cukup aktif), dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 7,89 (aktif). Sedangkan hasil belajar secara klasikal pada observasi awal 57,10 (kurang), meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 74,91 (cukup), dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 80,89 (baik). Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHTpada siswa kelas VIII C SMP N 6 Kintamani tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe (NHT), karena terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar.Kata Kunci : NHT, aktivitas, hasil belajar, passing bola basket
This research was intended to improve learning activity and learning outcomes of basketball passing basic technique through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT type on students of class VIII C SMP N 6 Kintamani. This study was action research which was the theacher as the researcher. This research was done in two cycles. The research subject was 34 students of class VII C SMP N 6 Kintamani, consisted of 16 male students and 18 female students. Based on the result of the study, it was found the average score of learning activity of basketball on the pre-observation clasically was 4.94 (less active), improved on the cycle I to be 6.79 (active enough), and improve on cycle II to be 7.89 (active). While the result of learning outcomes on pre-observation clasically was 57.10 (less), improved on cycle I to be 74.91 (enough), and improved on cycle II to be 80.89 (good). The result of data analysis and discussion was concluded that learning activity and learning outcomes of basketball passing basic technique improved through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT type on students of class VIII C SMP N 6 Kintamani in academic year 2013/2014. It was suggested to penjasorkes teacher to implement cooperative learning model NHT type, because it had proven effective to improve the students’ learning activity and learning outcomes.
