IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PASSING BOLA BASKET

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing bola basket melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Marga tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Siswa yang digunakan sebagai subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 orang yang terdiri dari 11 orang putra dan 14 orang putri, teknik Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data untuk aktivitas passing bola bola basket pada observasi awal secara klasikal sebesar 6,36 (cukup aktif), dan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 7,3 (aktif) dan 8,32 (aktif) pada siklus II. Sedangkan persentase hasil passing bola basket pada observasi awal secara klasikal sebesar 6,14% (cukup baik), pada siklus I 77,50% (baik) dan 83,56% (baik) pada siklus II. Disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil teknik dasar passing bola basket siswa meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT pada siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Marga Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014, untuk itu disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil passing bola basket.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran, aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing bola basket
This study aimed to improve students’ activity and their learning outcome of basketball passing technique through the implementation of cooperative learning model team games tournament (TGT) of XI IPA 3 graders students of SMA Negeri 1 Marga on the academic year 2013/2014. This research was classroom action research which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation/evaluation and reflection. Research’ subjects were 25 students with 11 male and 14 female students. The date were analysed by using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of data analysis, it is showed that on primary observation the result was 6,36 (moderate active), and increased to 7,3 (active) on cycle I and 8,32 (active) on cycle II. Meanwhile the result’s percentage of basketball passing technique on primary observation was about 6,14% (moderate), and increased to 77,50% (good) on cycle I and 83,56% (good) on cycle II. It can be concluded that the activity and learning outcome of basketball passing technique was improved trough the implementation of cooperative learning model TGT on XI IPA graders students of SMA Negeri 1 Marga academic year 2013/2014. Penjasorkes teachers were recommended to implemented this cooperative learning model TGT to improve students’ learning activity and outcomes basketball passing technique.
