This research aimed to improve the activity and result of learning the basic techniques of passing a football through the implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD. This research was a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, which consists of a plan of action, action, observation / evaluation and reflection. The subjects were students of class VII SMP Katolik Santo Paulus Singaraja A in academic year 2015/2016, in total 25 students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the analysis of classical learning activity data obtained at the initial observation 5.52 (quite active) and increased in the first cycle to 7.95 (active) and the second cycle increased, namely 8.4 (active). As for the analysis of classical learning completeness percentage at 24% on initial observations (not finished) in the first cycle increased, reaching 80% (complete). In the second cycle increased learning outcomes which reached 100% (complete). It can be concluded that the activities and results to learn the basic techniques of passing the football increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD in class VII SMP Katolik Santo Paulus Singaraja A in Academic Year 2015/2016. Recommended to be able implement penjasorkes to apply STAD cooperative learning model because it can increase the activity and results of learning the basic techniques of passing the football.
