this study aims to improve the learning activity and learning outcomes of passing controlfootball techniques through the implementation of cooperative learning model type GIon students of class VII B8 SMPN 6 Singaraja academic year 2015/2016. This study is classroom action research in the form of teacher as researcher, conducted in two cycles consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation/evaluation and reflection. Subject of this research is 30 students of class VII B8SMPN 6 Singaraja, consisting of 15 boys and 15girls. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Average learning activity was 6,4 at early observation (quite active),in the first cycle increased to 7,84(active), and the second cycle to 8.9( active). The percentage of passing football mastery learning outcomes classically on preliminary observations was 3,3%, in the first cycle was 60%, and the second cycle was 93%. Based on the analysis of data and discussion it can be concluded that the learning activity and learning outcomes of football passing control techniques improved through the implementation of cooperative learning model type GI on the class VII B8 SMPN 6 Singaraja academic year 2015/2016. It is recommended to teachers of physical education and sports health to implement GI type of cooperative learning model in the learning process because it can increase the learning activity and learning outcomes of football passing control.
