This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes volleyball passing techniques through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 B4 academic year 2015/2016. Research is classroom action research (PTK), where the number of cycles performed is as much as two cycles. The subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja B4, which amount to 25 people consisting of 18 sons and 7 daughters. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results, the average activity studied classical basketball passing on preliminary observations 4.88 (underactive), increased in the first cycle to 7.22 (active), and increased in the second cycle becomes 9.33 (very active) , While the results of classical learning in the initial observation 1.95 (enough), increased in the first cycle to 2.39 (enough), and increased in the second cycle to 3.57 (very good). Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the activities and achievement of passing the basic techniques of volleyball improved through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja B4 academic year 2015/2016. Penjasorkes recommended to teachers to implement cooperative learning model NHT because it can increase the activity and results of learning the basic techniques of volleyball passing students.
