Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatkan dalam perkembangan bahasa, setelah penerapan metode bercerita berbantuan media boneka tangan pada anak kelompok A semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 orang anak kelompok A semester II di TK Kemala bhayangkari 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan bahasa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan bahasa pada anak kelompok A TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja setelah diterapkan metode bercerita berbantuan media boneka tangan, pada siklus I sebesar 57,05% yang berada pada kategori rendah ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 81,7% yang berada pada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan perkembangan bahasa sebesar 24,65% pada anak kelompok A TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja.

This study aimed to determine the improvement in language development, after the application of media assisted storytelling hand puppets for children in group A the second semester of academic year 2013/2014 in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja. This type of research tends classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 15 children of A group in the second semester of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja school year 2013/2014. The data of this research on language development sheet format. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result of the data analyisis showed that an increase in language development in children in A group of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja after applied storytelling media assited hand puppet, the first cycle 0f 57.05% which is at the low category was experiencing an increase in cycle II to 81.7 % which children in A group of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja.
