Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa anak melalui penerapan metode bercerita dengan menggunakan media gambar pada anak kelompok B semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B TK kemala Bhayangkari 2 SingarajaTahun pelajaran 2013/2014, dengan jumlah anak 24 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi. Data analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase kemampuan berbahasa anak pada siklus I sebesar 65,31% yang berada pada kategori sedang dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 21,37% pada siklus II menjadi 86,68% berada pada kategori tinggiKata Kunci : metode bercerita, media gambar, kemampuan berbahasa
The study to describe the child’s improvement of language skills through the application of methods of telling stories using media images on children in group B the second semester of academic year 2013/2014 in Kindergarten 2 Kemala Bhayangkari Singaraja. This study is classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, the research subject in this study were children in group B the second semester of the school year 2013/2014 Kindergarten Bhayangkari 2 Singaraja, the number of children 24. Methods of data collection in this study using the method of observation. For data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive statistical methods. The results of the data analysis showed that an increase in language skills in the first cycle of 65.31% which is in the category to be moderate, it has increased 21,37% in the second cycle becomes 86,68% belong to the high criteria.
