PENERAPAN METODE BERMAIN DENGAN MEDIA PUZZLE GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KECERDASAN LOGIKA MATEMATIKA ANAK KELOMPOK B SEMESTER I DI PAUD PRADNYA PARAMITA PENARUNGAN SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kecerdasan logika matematika anak kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak Pradnya Paramita Penarungan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 melalui penerapan metode bermain dengan media puzzle gambar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan melakukan observasi langsung terhadap kemampuan logika matematika anak. Dari hasil observasi diperoleh data bahwa anak kelompok B2 di PAUD Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Singaraja, dalam hal kemampuan logika matematika anak masih kurang. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain degan media puzzle gambar, ternyata dapat meningkatkan kemampuan logika matematika anak di PAUD Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Singaraja. Kemampuan logika matematika anak pada siklus I sebesar 61,67%,yang berarti pada katagori rendah, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 81,67% yang menunjukkan kategori tinggi. Jadi peningkatan yang terjadi dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 20%. Kenyataan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain dengan media puzzle gambar ternyata sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan logika matematika anak, dan oleh karenanya para guru sangat perlu menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien agar proses pembelajaran berjalan optimal.Kata Kunci : Bermain, puzzle gambar, logika matematika
This study aims to determine the increase in mathematical logic intelligence of children in group B Kindergarten Pradnya Paramita Penarungan 2016/2017 school year through the application of the method to play with media images puzzles. Data collection was conducted by researchers with the direct observation of the child's ability to mathematical logic. From the observation data showed that children in early childhood B2 group Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Singaraja, in terms of mathematical logic abilities of children is still lacking. Research results show that the application of a method of playing puzzle degan media image, it can increase the ability of children in early childhood mathematical logic Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Singaraja. Mathematical logic skills of children in the first cycle of 61.67%, which means the low category, increased in the second cycle be 81.67% which indicates the high category. So the improvement that occurred from the first cycle to the second cycle of 20%. This fact shows that the application of the method of playing the puzzle image media proved very effective to improve the child's ability to mathematical logic, and therefore teachers are very necessary implementing effective learning strategies and efficient for the learning process run optimally.
