GAYA BAHASA DALAM CERPEN KARANGAN SISWA KELAS X1 SMA LABORATORIUM UNDIKSHA SINGARAJA

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan diksi yang digunakan dalam cerpen karangan siswa kelas X1 SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja dan (2) mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis majas yang digunakan dalam cerpen karangan siswa kelas X1 SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja. Subjek atau sumber data (karena berupa benda) pada penelitian ini adalah cerpen karangan siswa kelas X1 SMA Laboratorium Undiksha, yang berjumlah 29 buah. Objek penelitian ini adalah diksi dan majas dalam cerpen karya siswa tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan inventaris pembelajaran cerpen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) diksi yang digunakan oleh siswa-siswa kelas X1 SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja dalam cerpen-cerpen yang mereka tulis sebagian besar sudah mempertimbangkan ketepatan, kesesesuaian, dan kelaziman pengunaan diksi, dan (2) majas yang ditemui dalam cerpen-cerpen karangan siswa kelas X1 SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja, meliputi majas eufimisme, majas sinedoke, majas klimaks, majas ironi, majas metonimia, majas metafora, majas litotes, majas tautologi, majas antisipasi, majas simile, majas paradoks, majas pleonasme, majas perifrasis, majas personifikasi, dan majas hiperbola.

Abstract
This research aimed at (1) describing diction which was used in short story made by eleventh grade students of SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja and (2) describing types of figure of speech which were used by eleventh grade students of SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja. Subjects of this research were 29 short stories of eleventh grade students of SMA Laboratorium Undiksha. Objects of this research were diction and figures of speech which were used in students’ short stories. The methods of collecting data which is used in this research is documentation method which is done by collecting inventory of short story subject. Data analysis of this research was descriptive qualitative.
The results of this research were (1) diction which was used by elventh grade students in writting their short stories had considered to the accuracy, suitability and prevalence of used of diction, and (2) figures of speech which were found in eleventh grade students’ short stories included euphemism, sinedoke, climax, irony, metonimia, metafora, litotes, tautology, anticipation, simile, paradoks, pleonasm, perifrasis, personification, dan hyperbola.
