Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Berita pada Siswa Kelas 8.3 SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar dengan Teknik Think, Pair, dan Share

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis berita dengan teknik think, pair, dan share di kelas 8.3 SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar, (2) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan teknik think, pair, dan share yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis berita siswa kelas 8.3 SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar, dan (3) mendeskripsikan respons siswa kelas 8.3 SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar terhadap penggunaan teknik think, pair, dan share untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas 8.3 di SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar. Objek penelitian ini secara umum adalah kemampuan menulis berita siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini (1) kemampuan menulis berita siswa kelas 8.3 SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar meningkat, hal ini tampak pada skor rata-rata siklus I sebesar 72,38 dan pada siklus II menjadi 79,76, (2) langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang tepat dengan menggunakan teknik think, pair, dan share terdiri atas beberapa langkah, (3) penggunaan teknik think, pair, dan share untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis berita mendapatkan respons positif pada siklus I dan siklus II.Kata Kunci : menulis berita, teknik think, pair, dan share
This study aims to (1) describe an increase in the ability of students to write news with techniques think, pair, and share in 8.3 class at SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar, (2) describe the learning steps by using think, pair, and share the right to increase the ability of news writing class students of SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar 8.3, and (3) describe the response of 8.3 grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar towards the use of techniques think, pair, and share the news to improve writing skills. This study uses action research design. The subjects were Indonesian teachers and students in 8.3 class at SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar. General object of this study is the ability of students to write news. The methods of Data collection used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive. The results of this study (1) the ability to write news 8.3 grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar increased, it is shown in average score the first cycle of 72.38 and 79.76 in the second cycle becomes, (2) the steps appropriate learning by using techniques think , pair, and share consists of several steps, (3) the use of techniques think, pair, and share to improve the ability to write news to get a positive response in the first cycle and second cycle.
