MEDIA GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS TEKS ULASAN DI KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) jenis-jenis media yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan, (2) keefektifan penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan, (3) respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan, dan (4) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII dan siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja dengan objek penelitian berupa media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan. Ada tiga metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) jenis-jenis media yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan cukup bervariasi, yaitu media berbasis manusia, media berbasis teks, media berbasis audio visual, dan media berbasis komputer. (2) media-media yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan mampu mengefektifkan pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan, media yang paling efektif digunakan adalah contoh teks ulasan, film, dan power point. (3) respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan tergolong baik, dan (4) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan meliputi kendala dalam pemilihan media, penyediaan fasilitas, penepatan waktu, dan karakteristik siswa.Kata Kunci : media guru, menulis teks ulasan
This research aimed to describes (1) the types of media used by teacher in writing reviews text learning, (2) the effectiveness of the use of media in teaching writing reviews text, (3) the student’s response to the effectiveness of the use of media in teaching writing reviews text, dan (4) the constraints that faced by teacher when using media in teaching writing reviews text. This research uses descriptive qualitative research design. Subject in this research is Indonesia teacher of 8th grade and Students of 8th grade in SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja with the research object is instructional media used by teachers in teaching writing reviews text. Data collection method that used in this research are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained is analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis technique. The results of this research showed that (1) the types of media that used by teachers in teaching writing text review is varies, it is human media, text media, audio visual media, and computer media, (2) the media used by teacher in teaching writing reviews text is efektivable, the most effective media used is sample of reviews text, film, and power point, (3) the response of students to the effectiveness of the use of instructional media in writting reviews text learning is belong good, and (4) the constraints faced by teacher to the use of media in teaching writing text review comes from four sources, it is choosing media, facilities, time, and students.
