VARIASI MENGAJAR GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENGUBAH PENGALAMAN PRIBADI MENJADI NASKAH DRAMA PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 1 MELAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) variasi mengajar yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran mengubah pengalaman pribadi menjadi naskah drama pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Melaya, (2) alasan dipilihnya variasi mengajar tersebut, dan (3) kendala-kendala yang dialami guru dalam menggunakan variasi mengajar tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Melaya. Objek penelitian ini adalah variasi mengajar guru dalam pembelajaran mengubah pengalaman pribadi menjadi naskah drama. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, perekaman, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Variasi mengajar yang ditampilkan guru sudah bervariasi terlihat dari sudah diterapkannya komponen-komponen variasi mengajar yang meliputi variasi gaya mengajar, penggunaan media dan bahan ajar, dan pola interaksi, (2) Alasan dipilihnya variasi mengajar tersebut, yaitu (a) variasi gaya mengajar tersebut digunakan untuk menjaga konsentrasi siswa, memberikan penegasan kepada siswa mengenai hal-hal penting yang harus diingat dan dipahami, serta memberikan suatu penghargaan atau respons positif terhadap keberanian dan kemauan siswa untuk aktif selama KBM berlangsung. (b) variasi penggunaan media dan bahan ajar digunakan untuk mengefisienkan waktu serta mendayagunakan fasilitas yang ada dikelas, dan (c) variasi pola interaksi digunakan agar siswa mau aktif berinteraksi baik dengan guru atau teman sejawatnya, dan (3) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru bersumber dari (a) faktor guru, (b) faktor siswa, (c) faktor sarana dan prasarana, (d) faktor lingkungan khususnya dalam pengorganisasian kelas, dan (e) alokasi waktuKata Kunci : variasi mengajar, menulis naskah drama
This study was aimed at describing (1) the teaching variations used by the teacher in teaching the material of changing personal experience to a drama script in XI grade of SMA Negeri 1 Melaya. (2) The reasons of using those teaching variations, and (3) the difficulties faced by the teacher in using those teaching variations. This study used descriptive-qualitative method. The subject was the teachers of XI graders of SMA Negeri 1 Melaya. The object was the teacher’s skill in using teaching variations in teaching the material of changing personal experience to a drama script involving teaching variations style, variations of using media and learning material, and variation of learning interaction. The data collection method was observation, recording, and interview. The data were analyzed descriptive qualitatively. The result showed that (1) the teaching variation performed by the teacher was already diverse observed from the presence of teaching variations components like teaching variation style, variation of using media and learning material, and variation of learning interaction, (2) the reason of using the teaching variations were (a) the teaching variation style was used to keep the students ‘ concentration in giving stress toward the important parts of the lesson as well as giving the appreciation or positive response toward the students’ willingness and bravery during the teaching and learning process, (b) the variation of using media and learning material were used to concise the time and to make use the media provided in the class, and (c) the variation of learning interaction was used to make the students actively interacted with the teacher and their peers, and (3) the difficulties faced by the teacher came from (a) teacher, (b) student, (c) facilities, (d) environment specifically in class organization, and (e) time allotment.
