IMPLEMENTASI PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK PADA KURIKULUM 2013 DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS DI KELAS X IIS 1 SMAN 1 MENDOYO

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) langkah-langkah implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran menulis di kelas X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo, (2) kendala-kendala implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran menulis di kelas X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo, dan (3) respon siswa terhadap implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran menulis di kelas X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo yang berjumlah 47 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, kendala-kendala pembelajran menulis dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, dan respon siswa terhadap pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran menulis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) langkah-langkah implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran menulis melalui beberapa tahap yaitu pengamatan, menanya, menalar, mencoba dan mengkomunikasikan; (2) kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dimana kurangnya informasi tentang pendekatan saintifik, siswa yang kurang fokus dalam pembelajaran dan sarana sekolah yang kurang memadai; dan (3) respon siswa terhadap implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran menulis bersifat positif dimana dilihat dari prosentase berikut rata-rata 47,94 % siswa sangat setuju dan 43,24 % setuju. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti lain disarankan untuk meneliti lebih mendalam lagi tentang pendekatan saintifik.

This study aimed describe (1) the steps implementing the scientific approach to the teaching of writing in class X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo, (2) constraints on the implementation of the scientific approach to teaching writing in class X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo, and (3) response students to the implementation of the scientific approach to the teaching of writing in class X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo. The subjects were teachers and students of class X IIS 1 SMAN 1 Mendoyo which totaled 47 people. The object of this study is the implementation, constraints and student is response to the scientific study of the teaching of writing. Data collection methods used in this research is the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique. The results of this study were (1) the steps implementing the scientific approach to teaching writing through several stages of observation, to question, to reason, to try and communicate; (2) the constraints faced by the teacher where the lack of information about the scientific approach, students are less focused on learning and school facilities are inadequate; and (3) student is response to the implementation of the scientific approach to the teaching of writing is positive where seen from the following percentage of the average 47.94 % of students strongly agreed and 43.24 % agree. Based on these results, other researchers are advised to examine more deeply about the scientific approach.
