STRATEGI GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS BERITA PADA EKSTRAKURIKULER JURNALISTIK DI SMA NEGERI 1 KINTAMANI

Penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) strategi guru dalam pembelajaran menulis berita pada ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik di SMA Negeri 1 Kintamani, (2) respons siswa terhadap strategi guru dalam pembelajaran menulis berita pada ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik di SMA Negeri 1 Kintamani, dan (3) kendala-kendala guru dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran menulis berita pada ekstrakurikuler jurnlistik di SMA Negeri 1 Kintamani. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa pada ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik dan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi guru dalam pembelajaran menulis berita. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini, yaitu (1) guru menggunakan pendekatan yang berpusat pada guru dengan strategi ekspositorik dan pendekatan yang berpusat pada siswa dengan strategi heuristik. Kedua strategi tersebut ditempuh dengan tiga tahapan kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup; (2) respons siswa terhadap strategi yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran menulis berita berkategori positif (87.22%) ;dan (3) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru bersumber dari alokasi waktu. siswa, sarana prasarana, media pembelajaran dan lingkungan, khususnya dalam pengorganisasian dalam kelasKata Kunci : strategi pembelajaran, menulis berita, ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik
This qualitative descriptive study was aimed to describe (1) the learning strategy of teachers to write news in extracurricular journalism in SMA Negeri 1 KIntamani(2) the response of students to teachers in teaching writing news strategies in extracurricular journalism in SMA Negeri 1 Kintamani, and (3) the obstacles faced by the teacher in implementing the learning strategy to writing news in extracurricular journalism in SMA Negeri 1 Kintamani. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in extracurricular journalism and the object of this study is the learing strategy of teachers to writing news. The data were collected through observation, interview and questionnaire. The results of this study, are (1) the teachers used teacher-centered approach expository strategy and student centered approach with heuristic strategy. Both of the strategy pursued by the three stages of the learning activitiy that areinitial activity, core activity and closing; (2) the response of the students to the strategies that used by teachers in teaching writing news categorized as positive (87.22%); and (3) the obstacles faced by teachers came from the time alocationr. students, facilities, instructional media and the environment, particularly in organizing in the class.
