STRUKTUR FISIK DAN ISI NOVEL NEGERI LIMA MENARA KARYA AHMAD FUADI DENGAN NOVEL SEMESTER PERTAMA DI MALORY TOWERS KARYA ENID BYLTON : SUATU KAJIAN SASTRA BANDINGAN DAN RELEVANSINYA SEBAGAI BAHAN PEMEBELAJARAN SASTRA

Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk (1) Membandingan struktur yang terdapat pada novel Negeri Lima Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi dan novel Semester Pertama Di Malory Towers karya Enid Bylton; (2) Membandingan isi yang terdapat pada novel Negeri Lima Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi dan novel Semester Pertama Di Malory Towers karya Enid Bylton; (3) relevansi sebagai bahan pembelajaran sastra di kelas XII SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah: (1) Penentuan Subjek dan Objek Penelitian; (2) Langkah Kerja Penelitian (Pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, Instrumen penelitian, penyajian hasil data); (3) Penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Secara garis besar kedua novel ini memiliki persamaan pada tema major dan latar suasana. Sedangkan, dari segi tema minor, tokoh dan watak, latar tempat, latar waktu, alur, amanat, dan sudut pandang, dua novel ini memiliki perbedaan jauh.(2) isi yang terdapat pada novel Negeri Lima Menara lebih menekankan pada kehidupan yang religius/ agamis, sedangkan pada novel Semester Pertama Di Malory Towers lebih menekankan pada kehidupan sosial. (3)Novel Negeri Lima Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi dan Novel Semester Satu Di Malory Tower karya Enid Bylton dapat di jadikan bahan pembelajaran sastra di kelas XII SMA sesuai dengan tingkat keterbacaan dan tingkat kesesuaian.Kata Kunci : Novel, Sastra Bandingan, Pembelajaran
The research descriptive aims to (1) comparison structure which is found in novel Negeri Lima Menara by Ahmad Fuadi and novel Semester Pertama di Malory Towers by Enid Bylton; (2) comparison the contents of which is found in novel Negeri Lima Menara by Ahmad Fuadi and novel Semester Pertama di Malory Towers by Enid Bylton ; (3) relevance as lessons learned literature in class XII high school .This study adopted qualitative approaches by steps: (1) the determination of subject and object research; (2) a step work research (data collection , data processing , research instruments , presentation of the results of data); (3) withdrawal of conclusion. The research results show that (1) as a broad outline second novel it has equation in the theme major and background the atmosphere. While, in terms of the theme minor , figures and character , background place , background time , a groove , the message , and the point of view of , two this novel having the difference far . ( 2) in which is found in novel Negeri Lima Menara is emphasized on the religious life, while in novel Semester Pertama di Malory Towers more emphasis on social life. ( 3 ) novel Negeri Lima Menara by Ahmad Fuadi and novel Semester Pertama di Malory Towers by Enid Bylton can be basis of learning literature in class XII high school in accordance with the reading level and the level of suitability.
