*Implementasi Pendekatan Saintifik pada Pembelajaran Teks Diskusi Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran teks diskusi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja, (2) hambatan-hambatan implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada teks diskusi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru yang mengajar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Objek penelitian ini adalah implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran teks diskusi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja, hambatan-hambatan implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada teks diskusi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran teks diskusi melalui beberapa tahap yaitu mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan data, mencoba dan mengomunikasikan, dari kelima tahapan pendekatan saintifik tersebut tahapan mengumpulkan informasi dan mengolah informasi/mengasosiasikan tidak maksimal diterapkan oleh guru. (2) hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam mengimplementasikan pendekatan saintifik tahap mengumpulkan informasi yakni kurangnya fasilitas yang memadai bagi siswa membuat siswa hanya mengandalkan fasilitas yang ada. Siswa hanya dapat mengandalkan pengetahuan mereka melalui buku paket siswa yang sudah disediakan. Hambatan tahap mengolah informasi juga dialami guru saat guru telah menjelaskan kepada siswa tentang tugas yang akan mereka kerjakan, masih banyak siswa yang bertanya dan hal tersebut membuat guru berulang kali menjelaskan. Kurangnya informasi dan sosialisasi tentang pendekatan saintifik, rendahnya keterampilan guru mengelola pembelajaran teks diskusi dengan penerapan pendekatan saintifik. Karakteristik dan kemampuan siswa yang berbeda sehingga, menyulitkan guru dalam mengimplementasikan pendekatan saintifik.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, Kurikulum 2013 pembelajaran teks diskusi
*This research aims to describe (1) implementation of the scientific approach to the study of the text of the discussion grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja, (2) barriers implementation of scientific approach on the text of the discussion grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. The subject of this research is the teacher who teaches the class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. The object of this research is a scientific approach to the study of the implementation of the text of the discussion grade VIII SMP Negeri Singaraja, 4 barriers implementation of scientific approach on the text of the discussion grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Data collection methods used in this research is a method of observation, and interviews. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The results of this research indicate (1) the implementation of a scientific approach to the study of the text of the discussion through several stages, namely to observe, ask yourself, collect data, try and communicating, from the fifth stage of the stages of a scientific approach to information gathering and processing information/associate not optimally applied by teachers. (2) obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the scientific approach to information gathering stage of the lack of adequate facilities for the students to make students only rely on existing facilities. Students can only rely on their knowledge through the books that you have prepared students Pack. The resistance stage of processing the information also experienced teacher when the teacher has explained to the students about the task they are working on, there are still many students asked and this makes the teacher repeatedly explained. Lack of information and the dissemination of scientific approach, low skill teachers manage learning text discussion with the application of the scientific approach. The characteristics and capabilities of the different students so that, difficult teachers in implementing the scientific approach.
