KESULITAN BELAJAR KETERAMPILAN MENULIS CERITA PENDEK SISWA KELAS IXC SMP NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan (1) kesulitan belajar keterampilan menulis cerita pendek dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang dialami oleh siswa kelas IXC di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, (2) faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar keterampilan menulis cerita pendek dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang dialami oleh siswa kelas IXC di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IXC dan guru bahasa Indonesia. Objek penelitian ini adalah kesulitan dan faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar dalam keterampilan menulis cerita pendek siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan yakni model analisis Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada delapan kesulitan belajar dalam keterampilan menulis cerita pendek yang dialami oleh siswa kelas IXC. Kesulitan tersebut yaitu a) kesulitan dalam menentukan topik, b) kesulitan dalam menentukan tema, c) kesulitan dalam membuat kerangka tulisan, d) kesulitan dalam mengembangkan kerangka, e) kesulitan dalam merangkai peristiwa menjadi alur cerita, f) kesulitan dalam menentukan konflik dari peristiwa, g) kesulitan dalam menyusun kalimat yang efektif, dan h) kesulitan dalam menyusun paragraf yang baik. (2) Ada tiga faktor yang menyebabkan adanya kesulitan belajar. a) Faktor yang bersumber dari lingkungan sekolah, b) faktor yang bersumber dari lingkungan keluarga, dan c) faktor yang bersumber dari lingkungan masyarakat. Secara umum, siswa memiliki kesulitan belajar dan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar dalam keterampilan menulis cerita pendek. Dengan adanya kesulitan dan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar tersebut, guru diharapkan mampu meretas kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa dan mengatasi faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar tersebut.Kata Kunci : diagnosis, menulis, cerita pendek
This study describes (1) the difficulty of learning the skills to write short stories in Indonesian language learning experienced by students in grade IXC at SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, (2) factors that cause difficulty learning the skills to write short stories in Indonesian language learning experienced by students in grade IXC in SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja. This study used a qualitative descriptive design. The subjects were grade students and teacher Indonesian IXC. The object of this research is the difficulty and the factors that learning difficulties in students' skills of writing short stories. Collecting data in this study using observation and interviews. Analysis of the data used Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of this study indicate that (1) there are eight learning difficulties in the skills of writing short stories experienced by students in grade IXC. These difficulties, namely the difficulty in determining the topic, making a writing frame, developing the framework, arranging the events into the storyline, determining a conflict of events, formulating an effective sentence, and compiling good paragraph. (2) There are three factors that cause learning difficulties. a) Factors to be sourced from school environment, b) factors derived from the family environment, and c) factors that originates from the environmental community. General, students have learning difficulties and the factors that cause learning difficulties short story writing skills. Given the difficulty and the factors causing learning difficulties, teachers are expected to pave the difficulties experienced by the students and address the factors that cause learning difficulties.
