PENGARUH PERSEPSI GURU TENTANG GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DAN IKLIM KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui (1) pengaruh persepsi guru tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, (2) pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kinerja guru, dan (3) pengaruh simultan persepsi guru tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 68 guru di SMK N 1 Gianyar dan sampel yang digunakan adalah total populasi yang ada. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan kuesioner, serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, uji-t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi (R2) dengan program SPSS versi 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) persepsi guru tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai p-value = 0,002 < α = 0,05, (2) iklim kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai p-value = 0,004 < α = 0,05, (3) persepsi guru tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai p-value = 0,000 < α = 0,05. Besar pengaruh simultan persepsi guru tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja terhadap kinerja guru ditunjukkan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 29,9 % dan sisanya sebesar 70,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

This research aimed at finding out (1) the influence of teacher’s perception about the principal’s leadership style on teacher’s performance, (2) the influence of work atmosphere on teacher’s performance, and (3) the simultaneous influence of teacher’s perceptions about the principal’s leadership style and work atmosphere on teacher’s performance. This research used causality design. The populations of this research were 68 teachers of SMK N 1 Gianyar and the sample used were all of the population. The data were collected by documentation and questionnaires method, and then analyzed by using multiple regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R2) by using SPSS program version 16.0 for windows. The results of this research showing that (1) the teacher’s perceptions about principal’s leadership style had a significant influence on teacher’s performance, it was showed by p-value = 0,002 < α = 0,05, (2) the work atmosphere had a significant influence on teacher’s performance, it was showed by p-value = 0,004 < α = 0,05, and (3) the teacher’s perception about principal’s leadership style and work atmosphere simultaneously had a significant influence on teacher’s performance, it was showed by p-value = 0,000 < α = 0,05. The value of simultaneous influence of teacher’s perception about principal’s leadership style and work atmosphere on teacher’s performance was showed by the value of determination coefficient (R2) = 29,9% and 70,1% from another factor.
