PENGARUH PERSEPSI GURU TENTANG SUPERVISI KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) persepsi guru tentang supervisi kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Sawan, (2) kompetensi profesional guru yang bertugas di SMP Negeri 1 Sawan, dan (3) pengaruh persepsi guru tentang supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi profesional guru SMP Negeri 1 Sawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 42 guru di SMP Negeri 1 sawan dan sampel yang digunakan adalah total populasi yang ada. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuisioner. Untuk menganalisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, dan analisis regresi linear sederhana menggunakan uji-t dibantu dengan program SPSS versi 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) persepsi guru tentang supervisi kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Sawan ditunjukan dengan nilai kategori baik yakni sebesar sebesar 5233, (2) kompetensi profesional guru-guru yang bertugas di SMP Negeri 1 Sawan ditunjukan dengan nilai kategori baik, yakni sebesar 7677, dan (3) persepsi guru tentang supervisi kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru SMP Negeri 1 Sawan tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 11,9% dan sisanya sebesar 88,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

This research aimed at finding out (1) the teacher's perception regarding to the supervision of the principal of SMP Negeri 1 sawan, (2) the professional competence of the teacher’s at SMP Negeri 1 sawan, and (3) the influence of the teacher's perception regarding to the supervision of the principal toward the professional competence of the teacher’s at SMP Negeri 1 Sawan. This research used descriptive causality design. The populations of this research was 42 teacher’s at SMP Negeri 1 Sawan and the sample used in this research was all of the population. The data were gathered by means of interview, documentation, and questionnaires methods. The data were analyzed through descriptive analyzed and simple linear regression analyzed by means of t-test assisted by SPSS program version 16.0 for windows. The result of this research showing that (1) the teacher's perception regarding to the supervision of the principal of SMP Negeri 1 sawan could be considered as in good category value, such as 5233, (2) The proffesional competence of the teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Sawan could be considered as in good category value, such as 7677, and (3) teacher's perception regarding to the supervision of the principal had positive and significant influence toward the professional competence of the teacher's at SMP Negeri 1 Sawan, in the academic year 2013/2014 which was shown by the value of determination coefficient (R2) = 11,9% and 88,1% from another factor.
