PENERAPAN STRATEGI LEARNING START WITH A QUESTION (LSQ) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI KELAS X-7 SMA LABORATORIUM UNDIKSHA SINGARAJA TAHUN AJARAN 2015/2016

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan (1) aktivitas belajar siswa, dan (2) hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan strategi Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di kelas X-7 SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan-tahapan setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, pengamatan dan refleksi. Data aktivitas belajar dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui metode tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) penerapan strategi Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata aktivitas sebesar 6,81% berada pada kategori cukup aktif meningkat menjadi 9,68% pada siklus II berada pada kategori aktif. (2) penerapan strategi Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 79,84% meningkat menjadi 87,75% pada siklus II.

This research aimed at enhancing (1) students learning activity, and (2) students study result by applying the implementation of Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) strategy on economic studies in class X-7 SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles with each cycle stages include planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Learning activity data collected by observation and learning outcomes data collected through testing methods.The result of the research shows that (1) the implementation of Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) strategy can enhance students learning activity, in cycle I the average value of activity is 6,81% in fairly active category and has enchaced to 9,68% in cycle II and belonged to active category. (2) the implementation of Learning Start wit a Question (LSQ) strategy can enhance students study result, in cycle I the average value of students study result is 79,84% and has enhanced to 87,75% in cycle II.
