Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa Kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) berbantuan media pembelajaran berbasis GeoGebra dan (2) mengetahui tanggapan siswa Kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) berbantuan media pembelajaran berbasis GeoGebra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2015/2016, sebanyak 35 orang.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, serta refleksi.Data pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep matematika berbentuk soal uraian dan data tanggapan siswa dikumpulkan melalui angket tanggapan siswa.Data yang sudah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Rata-rata skor pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dari 50,0 pada refleksi awal terus meningkat dari siklus ke siklus menjadi 73,31 pada siklus III. (2) Tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) berbantuan media pembelajaran berbasis GeoGebra dalam pembelajaran matematika tergolong positif yaitu sebesar 59,51. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) berbantuan media pembelajaran berbasis GeoGebra dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa Kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar.

This study aims to: (1) enhance the concept understanding of math students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar through the application of cooperative learning model type group investigation aided by GeoGebra based instructional media, and (2) determine the responses of students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar on the application of cooperative learning model type group investigation aided by GeoGebra based instructional media , This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects are students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year, as many as 35 people. This research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Data of mathematics concept understanding was collected using a mathematical concept understanding test and the description about the student response data collected through questionnaires. The collected data was then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that (1) average score of student mathematics concept understanding of 50,0 at the early reflection increas from cycle to cycle up to 73,31 the third cycle. (2) The response of the students to the application of Cooperative learning model type group investigationaided by GeoGebra based instructional media in mathematics relatively positive amounting 59,51. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of Cooperative learning model type group investigationaided by GeoGebra based instructional media can enhance the math concept understanding of class VIII student of SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar.
