KONTRIBUSI GAYA BERPIKIR DAN TASK COMMITMENT TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP N 2 SAWAN

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) kontribusi gaya berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sawan, (2) kontribusi task commitment terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sawan, dan (3) kontribusi gaya berpikir dan task commitment terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sawan Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dan expost facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sawan yang berjumlah 329 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah propotional random sampling dengan ukuran sampel minimal 178 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes essay, angket, dan tes objektif. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan uji analisis korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kontribusi gaya berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sawan yaitu sebesar 34.9%. Hal ini bermakna bahwa variansi data prestasi belajar matematika 34.9% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel gaya berpikir; (2) kontribusi task commitment terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sawan yaitu sebesar 20.7%. Hal ini bermakna bahwa variansi data prestasi belajar matematika 20.7% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel task commitment; (3) kontribusi gaya berpikir dan task commitment terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Sawan, yaitu sebesar 44.5%. Hal ini bermakna bahwa variansi data prestasi belajar matematika 44.5% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel gaya berpikir dan task commitment.

Goal of this research are to know (1) the contribution of the thinking style to the mathematics achievement of grade VIII students in SMP N 2 Sawan, (2) the contribution of task commitment to the mathematics achievement of grade VIII students in SMP N 2 Sawan, and (3) the contribution of the thinking style and task commitment to the mathematics achievement of grade VIII students in SMP N 2 Sawan and the total is 329 students. This research was a correlational and ex post facto research with quantitative approach. The population in this research were students in grade VIII of SMP N 2 Sawan. the sampling technique used was proportional random sampling with minimal sample size is 178 students. The data collected by the essay tests, questionnaires, and multiple choice tests. Hypotheses were tested using correlation and regression analysis test.The result show that (1) the contribution of the thinking style to the mathematics achievement of grade VIII students in SMP N 2 Sawan is 34.9%. It Means that achievement data variance of 34.9% can be explained by variable of the thinking style ; (2) the contribution of the task commitment to the mathematics achievement of grade VIII students in SMP N 2 Sawan is 20.7%. It Means that achievement data variance of 20.7% can be explained by variable of the task commitment; and (3) the contribution of the thinking style and task commitment to the mathematics achievement of grade VIII students in SMP N 2 Sawan is 44.5%. It Means that achievement data variance of 44.5% can be explained by variable of the thinking style and the task commitment.
