PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPS 2 SMA NEGERI 1 SAWAN SEMESTER GANJIL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2015/2016

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui peningkatan motivasi siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) pada pelajaran Sejarah, (2) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), (3) mengetahui respon siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) pada pelajaran Sejarah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Tahap-tahap yang dilakukan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yaitu: (1) penentuan subjek penelitian, (2) membuat rencana tindakan, (3) melaksanakan tindakan, (4) melakukan observasi, (5) melakukan refleksi dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) persentase rata-rata motivasi siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan pada siklus I adalah 25,45% dengan kategori tinggi, meningkat menjadi 26,33% pada siklus II dengan kategori tinggi; (2) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan pada siklus I adalah 74,58 dengan kategori sedang, meningkat menjadi 83,54 pada siklus II dengan kategori tinggi; (3) respon siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) mencapai kategori positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Sejarah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 serta memperoleh respon yang positif.

This study aimed at 1) knowing the motivation improvement of the 12th of Social Science 2 grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sawan in odd semester in academic year of 2015/2016 through the application of cooperative learning model especially Student Team Achivement Divison(STAD) type on history lesson. This study was a classroom action research. The steps done in this action research involved ; 1) determining the research subjects 2) making the design of the action 3) doing the action 4) observing 5) reflecting ang evaluating. The result of the research showed that : 1) The motivation average percentage of the 12th social science 2 grade of SMA Negeri 1 Sawan in cycle I were 25,45% with high category, and they improved became 26,44% in cycle II with high category as well. The average of the study result of the students were 74,58 in cycle I with sufficient category, increased became 83,54 in cycle II in high category. 3) the students' responses toward the application of cooperative learning in STAD type achieved positive category. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model in STAD type can improve the motivation and the history study's result of the 12th social science 2 grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sawan in academic year of 2015/2016 get positive responses as well.
