PROSES KREATIF GUSTI AJI ROBED

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang: Biografi Gusti Aji Robed, Tema karya Gusti Aji Robed, Nilai estetis karya Gusti Aji Robed, Proses Gusti Aji Robed dalam berkarya, Perkembangan karya-karya Gusti Aji Robed. Penelitian ini bersifat Deskritif Kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu obervasi, wawancara, dan kajian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini membahas proses kreatif Gusti Aji Robed. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: Gusti Aji Robed adalah pelukis tradisi dari Desa Panji yang mulai melukis sejak tahun 1989, Tema-tema karya Gusti Aji Robed antara lain tema Bhima Swarga, sejarah Panji Sakti, Tantri, dan tema bebas lainya, Unsur estetis karya Gusti Aji Robed meliputi unsur warna, komposisi bentuk, proporsi yang masih menunjukan pengaruh rupa klasik dalam penampilan karyanya, Secara proses berkarya memang Gusti Aji Robed medapat pengaruh dari kakeknya Gusti Ketut Natih, Perkembangan Gusti Aji Robed dimulai dari tema Bhima Swarga sejak 1989 hingga 1995. Dari 1995 hingga 2000, tema karya beliau beralih ke sejarah Buleleng, khususnya Ki Barak Panji Sakti. Pada tahun 2000 hingga 2008, karya beliau bertema bebas, contohnya adalah lukisan berjudul lupa ingat, menghibur dikala duka, dan lainya. Dari tahun 2008 sampai sekarang beliau mengerjakan lukisan yang bertema Tantri seperti Raja pisuna, dan mengerjakan tema lainya yang masih belum sempurna. Sampai sekarang beliau masih menekuni gaya klasik dan ini bisa dikatakan kecendrungan Robed dalam berkarya.
