Abstract

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dan kesesuaian guru latar belakang bukan seni di SMAN 1 Taliwang, yang difokuskan pada: (1) peran guru berlatar belakang bukan seni dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di SMAN 1 Taliwang, (2) kesesuian latar belakang guru bukan seni dengan materi yang diajarkan dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di SMAN 1 Taliwang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan: (1) peran guru mencakup peran guru sebagai korektor, inspirator, inisiator, fasilitator, pembimbing, demonstrator, pengelola kelas, mediator, supervisor, dan evaluator. (2) kesesuaian latar belakang guru bukan seni dengan materi yang diajarkan dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di SMAN 1 Taliwang ada pengaruh latar belakang guru bukan seni terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan kemampuan guru dalam memenuhi 10 perannya tersebut.

Abstract
This study was conducted to describe the role of teachers and the compatibility of non-art background teachers at SMAN 1 Taliwang, which focusing on: (1) the role of non-art background teachers in arts and culture learning at SMAN 1 Taliwang, and (2) the compatibility of non-art background teachers with the art and culture lesson material for teaching at SMAN 1 Taliwang. This research was a qualitative study. The type of data used was qualitative data in form of data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that: (1) the teachers had numerous roles as corrector, inspirer, initiator, facilitator, supervisor, demonstrator, class manager, mediator, and evaluator. (2) There was a correlation between non-art background teachers with the student learning outcomes and the ability of the teacher to fulfill the ten roles of teachers.
