PROSES PEMBUATAN CUTTING STIKER PADA BODY MOBIL DI PERUSAHAAN BALISTIKER DENPASAR

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses dan cara pembuatan cutting stiker pada body luar mobil di Perusahaan Balistiker, Denpasar, Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Proses perancangan (2) Bahan dan alat (3) Jenis desain dan (4) Sistem pewarisan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Proses perancangan cutting sticker pada body luar mobil ada beberapa tahap antara lain tahap awal desain menggunakan software coreldraw. Dilanjutkan dengan tahap cetak cutting sticker menggunakan mesin dan tahap tempel cutting sticker secara manual. (2) Bahan meliputi oracal. Sedangkan alat meliputi mesin cetak cutting sticker, cutter, gunting, penggaris, rakel, spryer, hair dryer. (3) Jenis desain meliputi anime, racing, elegant dan desain branding dengan teknik digital printing. (4) Sistem pewarisan ketrampilan perusahaan, pemilik mewariskan ilmunya kepada tenaga kerja secara langsung. Kemudian akan dipelajari serta diterapkan langsung secara mandiri atau otodidak. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil penelitian berupa: proses perancangan, bahan dan alat, jenis desain cutting sticker serta sistem pewarisan ketrampilan pembuatan cutting sticker.

The background of this study was to know the process and the way of making cutting sticker on the exterior of car’s body in Balistiker company at Denpasar. This research aimed at knowing 1) the design process, 2) the tools and equipments, 3) kinds of design, and 4) the inheritance process. This study used descriptive qualitative design. The result of this study showed that 1) the design process of cutting sticker on the exterior of car’s body was done using software coreldraw, and continued by printing the cutting sticker and using manual system in affixed the cutting sticker. 2) the equipments was oracal, and the tools were cutting sticker printing machine, cutter, scissors, rulers, rakel, spryer, and dryer. 3) kinds of design were anime, racing, elegant, and branding design using digital printing technique. 4) the inheritance process was, the owner inherit the skill to the employees directly. Then, it would be learned and practiced by them independently. The conclusion of this research was the result of this study were about the design process, the equipments and tools, kinds of cutting sticker design and the inheritance process of making cutting sticker.
