Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pengalaman magang terhadap minat untuk berkarir di industri Hotel.  Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/i sekolah perhotelan XYZ.  Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan SPSS untuk pengolahan data. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara penyebaran kuisioner secara acak.  Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik non-probability sampling dengan teknik sampling kuota.  Dalam penelitian ini menganalisis korelasi, koefisien determinasi dan Regresi Linear Sederhana untuk meneliti pengaruh dan menjawab hipotesis dalam penelitian ini.  Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Pengalaman Magang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Minat Berkarier.  Peneliti menyarankan agar universitas memperluas hubungan dengan industri agar tersedia tempat magang yang sesuai bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mereka, sehingga akan menimbulkan keprcayaan diri untuk berkarir di hotel industri.
