FOCUS

Jurnal Media dan Teknologi Pendidikan (JMTP) is a scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research, innovations, and practical applications in the fields of educational media and technology. The journal explores the integration of multimedia, digital tools, and innovative learning models into educational settings. It emphasizes the development, effectiveness, and impact of various media and technologies used in teaching and learning processes, particularly in primary and secondary education, with a particular emphasis on the Indonesian context and global perspective.

SCOPE

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Educational Media and Technology Integration: Research on the use of various types of media such as Virtual Reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), video animations, e-books, interactive multimedia, and educational games for enhancing learning experiences across various subjects.
  2. Innovative Teaching Models: Focus on teaching methods like Project-Based Learning (PBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Discovery Learning, and cooperative learning models that are supported by educational technology. This includes the exploration of interactive media, video tutorials, and digital platforms for fostering active learning, critical thinking, and creativity in students.
  3. Multimedia for Skill Development: Use of multimedia tools to support skill development, particularly in improving literacy, numeracy, and specific subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies, and religious education. This also includes studies on how these tools contribute to cognitive skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and reflective thinking.

Digital Resources for Teacher Training and Professional Development: The journal also highlights how digital resources such as e-modules, tutorials, and interactive materials are used to train educators and enhance their teaching skills, particularly in using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for teaching purposes.
