PENGARUH E-MODUL BERBASIS SCIENTIFIC PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENGOLAHAN CITRA DIGITAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DAN MOTIVASI SISWA KELAS XI MULTIMEDIA DI SMK NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA

Abstract


Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh e-modul mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital kelas XI Multimedia terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja (2) Motivasi siswa kelas XI Multimedia di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja setelah menggunakan e-modul berbasis scientific pada mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital (3) Respon siswa kelas XI Multimedia di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja setelah menggunakan e-modul berbasis scientific pada mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital
Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan desain Post Test Only, With Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas XI Multimedia SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas XI MM 1 yang digunakan sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI MM 2 yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 52 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode tes uraian untuk mengukur hasil belajar dan metode angket untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar siswa dan respon siswa. Data hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis dengan melakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji- t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X Multimedia SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja antara siswa yang menggunakan e-modul dengan hasil belajar siswa yang beajar menggunakan bahan ajar konvensional. Hasil analisis uji-t memperoleh thitung sebesar 1.714 dan ttabel sebesar 1,671 untuk dk sebesar 50 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian diperoleh thitung > ttabel, ini berarti H0 ditolak. Motivasi belajar siswa yang menggunakan e-modul dikatakan tinggi dilihat dari rata-rata motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 96,96 (eksperimen). (2) Respon siswa dari penerapan e-modul berbasis scientific pada mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital adalah positif dilihat rata – rata skor hasil angket respon siswa yaitu 92,44.

Abstract— The objectives of this research are to know: 1) the influence of Digital Image Processing subject e-module of grade XI Multimedia towards the learning result of the students of SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja; 2) The motivation of students of grade XI Multimedia in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja after applying scientific-based e-module to the Digital Image Processing subject; and 3) Responses from the students of grade XI Multimedia in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja after applying scientific-based e-module to the Digital Image Processing subject.
This research is a quasi experiment with the design of Post Test Only, With Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population covers all students of grade XI Multimedia in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja academic year 2015/2016. The samples of this study were students of grade XI MM 1 as the controlling class and grade XI MM 2 as the experimental class with the total of 52 students. The methods of collecting data applied in this study are elaboration test method in order to measure the learning result; and questionnaire in order to analyze students’ learning motivation and responses. The data on learning result were then analyzed by conducting prerequisite test which includes normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test.
The findings showed that (1) there were significant impacts toward the learning result of students from grade XI Multimedia in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja between those who applied the e-module and those who studied by applying the conventional module. The result of t-test analysis showed that tcount was 1.714 and ttable was 1,671 in which the degree of freedom was 50 with 5% significant level. Based on the test category, it was obtained that tcount > ttable which means that H0 is rejected. Learning motivation of students who applied the e-module is high by considering the average result of students’ learning motivation from the experimental class which is 96.96 (experiment). Students’ responses toward the application of scientific-based e-module on the Digital Image Processing subject are positive that can be noticed from the average score of students’ responses through questionnaire which is 92.44.
