Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Guidelines

  1. Articles written for JURNAL PENJAKORA include research results (maximum 5 years at the time of the submission) and thoughts in phyisical education, sport science, sport sport coaching and sport health. The manuscript is typed in Arial, 11 pts in size, spaced 1 and printed on A4 paper 7 to 15 pages long.
  2. The manuscript (file) in Microsoft Word format is sent through the https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/PENJAKORA page by registering first. File delivery can also be done as an email attachment to the address: penjakora@gmail.com.
  3. The name of the article writer is listed without an academic degree and is placed under the title of the article. The author should include the institution of origin and email address (for the main authors) to facilitate communication.
  4. Articles can be written in Indonesian or English with essay format with title in each section of the article, except the preliminary section presented without section title. The article titles and subtitles of the articles are capitalized (except for the untitled introduction). The section title rating is capitalized at the beginning of each word. The section title and section title rankings are all without numbers / numbers, in bold, and flat left edges.
  5. For research-based articles, the outline used is the introduction (without heading or subheading), method, results and discussion, conclusion, and references.
  6. The title should be less than 15 words, centered, with font size 14 in Arial
  7. The introduction should consist of the background of the study, research contexts, literary review, and research objective. All introduction should be presented in the form of paragraphs, not pointers, with a proportion of 15-20% of the whole article length.
  8. The method section consists of a description concerning the research design, data sources, data collection, and data analysis with the proportion of 10-15% of the total article length, all presented in the form of paragraphs.
  9. The results and discussion section consist of a description of the results of the data analysis to answer the research question(s), and their meanings are seen from current theories and references of the area addressed. The proportion of this section is 40-60% of the total article length.
  10. The conclusion section consists of the summary, restatement, comment or evaluation of the main findings.
  11. Use only horizontal lines when using tables. Put table number and the title of the table on top of it.
  12. Every source cited in the body of the article should appear in the reference, and all sources appearing in the reference should be cited in the body of the article.
  13. The sources cited should at least 80% come from those published in the last ten years. The references cited are primary sources in the form of journal articles, books, and research reports, including theses and dissertations.
  14. Citation is done using a bracket (last name and year of publication). When the sources are cited verbatim, the page number is included (p. 78 or pp. 78-89).
  15. Quotation and references follow APA style, and the latter should be included at the end of the article in the following examples:
