Abstract

Mata kuliah jaringan komputer memerlukan praktikum penunjang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keahlian mahasiswa terkait materi yang diberikan. Pelaksanaan praktikum konvesional untuk mata kuliah ini memerlukan beragam perangkat keras dan komponennya yang tidak murah. Suatu model alternatif praktikum jaringan komputer ditawarkan dengan mengedepankan modul pembelajaran mandiri dalam bentuk media teks, video pembelajaran, aktifitas praktek melalui simulasi dan pengerjaan pre test serta post test. Simulasi jaringan komputer dilakukan melalui tools perangkat lunak, diantaranya adalah Packet Tracer.
