PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA BILINGUAL BERBASIS PERTANYAAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP BIOLOGI DAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA SMP
Abstract
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengahasilkan LKS Berbasis Pertanyaan (LKS Bilbaper) yang digunakan untuk memahami konsep biologi dan keterampilan proses sains di SMP. Secara khusus tujuan penelitian adalah: a) melakukan analisis kebutuhan untuk mengembangkan LKS Bilbaper., b) melakukan analisis standar isi dan dokumen kurikulum IPA/sains SMP, c) menyusun buram (draf) LKS Bilbaper, d) menganalisis dan merevisi LKS Bilbaper berdasarkan data hasil reviewer, dan e) mendeskripsikan hasil analisis keefektifan LKS Bilbaper untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP. Metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan ADDIE Model yang terdiri dari tahap Analisis (Analysis), tahap Perancangan (Design), tahap Pengembangan dan Produksi (Development and Production), tahap Implementasi (Implementation), dan tahap Evaluasi (Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LKS Bilbaper yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat atau layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains biologi di SMP, efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep biologi dan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP, aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan LKS Bilbaper termasuk baik dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan LKS Bilbaper adalah positif.

Abstract: This study aimed to develop a questions-based worksheet that used to enhance the understanding on biological concepts and science process skill in junior high school. The specific aims of this study were; a) to conduct need analysis for developing the question-based worksheet, b) to analyze standard contents and science curriculum documents of junior high school, c) to construct the worksheet draft, d) to analyze and revise the draft of the worksheet based on the data resulted by the reviewers, and, e) to describe the results of analysis on worksheet effectiveness in improving the understanding of concepts and science process skill of junior high school students. Research development method used ADDIE model that consist the stages of analysis, design, development and production, implementation, and evaluation. Study result shows the developed question-based worksheet meets the terms or suited to be used in science teaching-learning process in junior high school, can be used to enhance understanding of biological concepts effectively and to enhance the science process skill of junior high school students. The student learning activity using the worksheet is good and the student responses on learning process using the worksheet is positive.
