This development research aims to produce local wisdom-based learning media with augmented reality (AR) technology that is feasible, practical, and effective in increasing students' interest in learning. The study employs the ADDIE model with five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Conducted at SMAN 1 Lunyuk, the research involved media and material validations by experts, teacher assessments, and student responses. The study used an experimental class and a control class to compare the effectiveness of the media. Data collection involved validation sheets, teacher assessments, student responses, and questionnaires measuring learning interest, with data analyzed using a t-test (p < 0.05). The results showed that the AR-based learning media was deemed feasible with a material validation score of 91.37% (Very Feasible) and media validation score of 80% (Feasible). Teacher assessments rated the media 97.5% (Very Appropriate), and student responses indicated 85.63% (Very Appropriate). The t-test revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, with the experimental class showing an average posttest learning interest of 86.37 compared to 67.37 for the control class. This demonstrates that the AR media effectively enhances student interest, and further refinement of the media is suggested.
