Abstract

Guru pembimbing kurang memonitoring siswa yang pelaksanaan prakerin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tujuan suatu program pada pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri jurusan teknik otomotif di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Jenis penelitian yaitu evaluasi dengan model goal oriented. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kombinasi (mixed method). Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui angket dengan responden 35 orang yang terdiri dari 15 orang guru pembimbing dan 20 orang instruktur DU/DI, sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara.  Hasil penelitian  menyimpulkan  bahwa  komponen  pelaksanaan prakerin ditinjau dari subkomponen tujuan program kategori baik. Subkomponen perilaku secara keseluruhan diperoleh penilaian dengan kategori baik. Subkomponen pencapaian tujuan secara keseluruhan diperoleh penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik. Subkomponen kinerja siswa secara keseluruhan diperoleh penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri jurusan teknik otomotif di sekolah menengah kejuruan sudah berada pada kategori sangat baik.
