Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing control melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Katolik Santo Paulus Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam penelitian tindakan kelas dengan jenis penelitian guru sebagai peneliti. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, terdiri dari rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi atau evaluasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Katolik Santo Paulus Singaraja, berjumlah 25 orang (13 putra dan 12 putri). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif.Dari analisis data, diperoleh aktivitas belajar passing control secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 7,02% (aktif), meningkat sebesar 1,71% menjadi 8,73% (sangat aktif) pada siklus II. Ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal pada silkus I adalah 88% (sangat baik) dan pada silkus II meningkat 12% menjadi 100% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar Passing Control meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Katolik Santo Paulus Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar Passing Control sepakbola.
Abstract: This research was purpose to improved students’ competency in learning Soccer Passing Control through the cooperative learning model STAD of the VIII A students in Saint Paul Junior High School academic year 2012/2013. This study was classroom based action research in which the action research stages such as plan, act, observe, reflect and revise were used. The research subject are students of VIII A class in Saint Paul Junior High School about 25 students (13 male and 12 female). There were two kinds of data obtained in this study, namely; quantitative and qualitative findings. The result of the cycle I showed the activation of the students about 7, 02% (active), and improved about 1, 71% became 8, 73% (very active) in cycle II. Then, the students’ competency in cycle I about 88% (very good) and in cycle were improved about 12% became 100% (very good). The result from the post-test 2 showed aThe score of passing control were improved trough the impelementation of STAD to the VIII A students in Saint Paul Junior High School academic year 2012/2013. The sport teacher advised to implement The STAD approach implemented to improve the students’ competency in learning Soccer Passing Control.
