PENERAPAN KOOPERATIF GI MENINGKAT MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR TEKNIK TENDANGAN PENCAK SILAT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar teknik dasar tendangan pencak silat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) pada siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 2 Negara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Terdiri dari rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 2 Negara, yang berjumlah 36 orang, terdiri dari 9 putra dan 27 putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh adalah untuk motivasi belajar teknik dasar tendangan pencak silat pada siswa VIII H SMP Negeri 2 Negara secara klasikal pada observasi awal 37 (rendah), pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 65 (tinggi), dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 76 (tinggi). Sedangkan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar tendangan pencak silat secara klasikal pada observasi awal 19.4% (sangat kurang), pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 69.4% (cukup), dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 88.9% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar teknik dasar tendangan pencak silat siswa meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif GI pada siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 2 Negara tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : GI, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar, Tendangan, Pencak Silat
This study aims to increase motivation and learning basic techniques of martial arts kick through the application of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) in the eighth grade students of SMP N 2 VIII H Negara . This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles . Consists of a plan of action , action , evaluation , and reflection . Subjects of this research are 36 student of eighth grade from SMPN 2 Negara, cohsist of 9 men and 27 woment. Was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis . The result of for the motivation to learn the basic techniques of martial arts kick on student VIII Junior High School H 2 in the classical state at the initial observation are 37 ( low ) , on the first cycle increased to 65 (high) , and on the second cycle increased to 76 (high) . While the percentage of comlpeted learning outcomes of martial arts kick classically on early observations 19.4 % (very less) , on the first cycle increased to 69.4 % (enough) , and on the second cycle increased to 88.9 % (very good) . Based on the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the motivation and learning outcomes of the basic techniques of martial arts kick students increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model GI on eighth grade students of SMP N 2 VIII H Negara school year 2013/2014 .
