PENERAPAN KOOPERATIF NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR TEKNIK DASAR TOLAK PELURU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar tolak peluru gaya Ortodoks dan O’Brien melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu guru sebagai peneliti yang telah dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, terdiri dari rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII H SMP Negeri 3 Semarapura, berjumlah 25 orang, yaitu 15 orang laki-laki dan 10 orang perempuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data aktivitas belajar teknik dasar tolak peluru gaya Ortodoks dan O’Brien secara klasikal pada observasi awal adalah 5,92 (cukup aktif) yaitu 8 siswa (32%) aktif, meningkat 1,38 yaitu 9 siswa (36%) menjadi 7,3 (aktif) yaitu 17 siswa (68%) aktif pada siklus I, dari siklus I meningkat 1,4 yaitu 8 siswa (32%) menjadi 8,7 (aktif) yaitu 25 (100%) aktif pada siklus II dan dari observasi awal ke siklus II meningkat 2,88 yaitu 17 siswa (68%). Sedangkan persentase hasil belajar teknik dasar tolak peluru gaya Ortodoks dan O’Brien secara klasikal pada observasi awal adalah 8 orang (32%) tuntas meningkat 8 orang (32%) menjadi 16 orang (64%) pada siklus I, dari siklus I meningkat 9 orang (36%) menjadi 25 orang (100%) pada siklus II dan dari observasi awal ke siklus II meningkat 17 orang (68%). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, Disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar tolak peluru gaya Ortodoks dan O’Brien meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada siswa kelas VII H SMP Negeri 3 Semarapura tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran kooperatif, aktivitas, hasil belajar, dan teknik dasar tolak peluru.
This study aimed to improve the activity and the learning resultof thebasic techniques of shot putwithOrtodoksdanO’Brienthrough the implementation of cooperative learning model with NHT type. This study was classified as an action research, that the teacher as a reseacher and was conducted in two cycles, concist of planning, action ,observation and evaluation, and also reflection. The subject of this study were 25 students of grade VII H in SMP Negeri 3 Semarapura, concist of 15 boys and 10 girls. The data were analyzed by using descriptif statistic analysis. The result of the data analysis about the learning activity of the basic techniques of shot putwithOrtodoksdanO’Brienin the first observation was 5,92(Quite active) that 8 students(32%) was active, incresed 1,38 that 9 students(36%) become 7,3(active) that 17 students(68%) was active in the fist cycle, incresed 1,4 from the fist cycle that 8 students (32%) become 8,7(active) that 25(100%) active in the second cycle and in the first observation to the second cycle incresed 2,88 that 17 student(68%). While the learning result percentage of the basic techniques of shot putwith OrtodoksdanO’Brienin the first observation was 8 students(32%) complate and incresed 8 students(32%) become 16 students(64%) in the first cycle, it incresed from the first cycle that 9 students(36%) become 25 students(100%) on the second cycle and from the first observation to the second cycle incresed 17 students(68%). Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be conclude that the activity and the learning result of the basic techniques of shot put with OrtodoksdanO’Brienwas incresed through the implementation of the cooperative learning model with NHT type in class VII H of SMP Negeri 3 Semarapura, academic year 2013/2014
