IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SERVICE BULU TANGKIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar service bulu tangkis melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI pada siswa kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Ubud tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dimana guru sebagai peneliti yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Ubud, berjumlah 32 orang dengan rincian 21 orang putra dan 11 orang putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data observasi awal aktivitas belajar service bulu tangkis secara klasikal 5.56 (cukup aktif), setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus I meningkat 1,5 menjadi 7,09 (aktif) dan meningkat 1,53 menjadi 8,62 (aktif) pada siklus II. Analisis data ketuntasan hasil belajar service bulu tangkis pada observasi awal 28,1% (sangat kurang baik), setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus I meningkat 40,65% menjadi 68,75% (cukup baik), dan meningkat 25% menjadi 93,75% (sangat baik) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar service bulu tangkis meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI pada siswa kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 1 Ubud tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI karena dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran GI, aktivitas, hasil belajar, service bulu tangkis.
This study is aimed at improving students’ activity and learning achievement of badminton service through the implementation of cooperative learning model, GI type for the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Ubud in academic year 2013/2014. This research is a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this research was 32 student of VIII F class of SMP Negeri 1 Ubud, 11 female and 21 male. The data were analyzed using statistic descriptive method. Based on the analysis done by the researcher, the learning activity of basic skill in badminton service at the first preliminary observation was 5.56, in which it was increased 1.5% in the cycle I become 7.09 and increased 1.53% in the cycles II become 8.62. The data analysis of the badminton service study result in preliminary observation was 28.1 % in which it was increased from 40,65% to 68,75% in the cycle I, and it was increased from 25% to 93.75% in cycle II. Based on the data analysis and the discussion, it could be concluded that learning activity and learning achievement of basic skill badminton service was increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model, GI type for the VIII F students of SMP Negeri 1 Ubud in the academic year 2013/2014. It is suggested to the physical exercise teacher to implement cooperative learning model, GI type sincet it could improve the students’ activity and learning achievement.
