This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes volleyball passing through cooperative learning model application type numbered head together at student class XI science SMAN 1 Sukasada 2 academic Year 2013/2014 . This study was classified as a class action research conducted by 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of a plan of action, implementation , observation / evaluation , and reflection . Subjects numbered 25 students , consisting of 12 sons and 13 daughters . Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis . Based on the analysis of activity data passing volleyball at the beginning of the classical observation by 6.12 (enough) , and the first cycle increased to 7.16 (active) and 9 (active) in the second cycle . While the percentage passing volleyball results at the beginning of the classical observation by 44 % (enough) , in the first cycle 76 % (good) and 100 % (very good) in the second cycle . Based on the analysis of data and discussion is concluded that the activity and learning outcomes volleyball passing increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT in class XI Science SMAN 1 Sukasada academic year 2013/2014 . Penjasorkes recommended to teachers by implementing cooperative learning model NHT in the learning process as an alternative to improve the activity and learning outcomes passing volleyball. .
