ABSTRACT This study aims to improve the activity and results of learning the basic techniques of passing volleyball in class X AP1 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja in the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a class act that is teacher as researcher conducted in two cycles, consisting of a plan of action, action, observation or evaluation and reflection. This research was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the results, the average activity of learning the basic techniques of passing (top and bottom) in classical volleyball on preliminary observations 5.88 (quite active), the first cycle increased to 7:20 (active), and 8:40 (active) in the second cycle. While the percentage of completeness cognitive learning outcomes at early observation of 7.32% (complete), the first cycle to 56.10% (complete), and 100% (complete) in the second cycle. The percentage of completeness psychomotor learning outcomes on initial observations of 12.20% (complete), the first cycle to 60.98% (completed), and 97.56% (completed) in the second cycle. Based on the analysis of data and discussion concluded that the activities and results of learning the basic techniques of passing (top and bottom) volleyball improved through the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). Thus PJOK suggested to teachers in order to implement cooperative learning model TPS.
